As a former caregiver Avis Thomas has served the elderly in her community for over 20 years.
After working in the field for so long Avis decided it was time to give back to the elderly in
a different way. Her dream was to provide a resource for the elderly to find loving and
caring caregivers that were dedicated like her to helping them live peacefully in the comfort
of their own home. As a result Avis partnered with her daughter Carol, who obtained her
Bachelors of Science in Finance and her Masters in Business Administration both from the
University of Florida, to put the plan in motion.
After careful planning Gentle Touch Homemaker Companion Services was born and a
dedication to providing the best service possible was ignited.
Our mission is simple-
To provide clients and their loved ones peace of mind and superior services, by creating a
nurturing relationship with our gentle and knowledgeable staff.
